March monthly update: Includes information on updates that will be released to IWITS and IWATS this evening.
Tonight, an update will be done in IWITS to fix the following current issues.
- Credit Card (cc) fee included with fee paid amount on activities: this will correct the current issue of the cc fee being included in the total fee paid on activities with a fee owed and paid.
- All Activities with a fee: this will correct the current issue of activities with a fee not creating a differential. The differential will now be created, and you will enter any additional fee payments for the activity as a Fee-94-DIFFERENTIAL payment from the drop down in the member payment screen.
- Withdrawal Card Deposits: a differential will now be created the same way it is for other activities with a fee owed and a partial fee payment. Any additional fee payments will be entered as a Fee-94-DIFFERENTIAL payment from the drop down in the member payment screen
Tonight, an update will be done in IWATS to fix the following current issues.
- Courses and Certifications obtained in another Local prevent registering for Refresher Courses or Obtaining Certifications: the update will allow Local A to recognize certifications or course taken or obtained in Local B so the member can register for a refresher course, or complete the remaining course requirements to obtain a certification, in Local A.
Examples:
A member from another Local has obtained a Qualified Rigger Cert from their home Local. They are working in your jurisdiction and need to obtain a refresher Qualified Rigger Cert. Previously, the system would not recognize they had met the pre-requisite to register for the refresher courses, which is the member has a Qualified Rigger Cert, since it was obtained in another Local. The update allows your Local to register the member as it now recognizes he met the pre-requisite in another Local.
A member transferred to your Local (Local B). They took the Cranes Self-Study course in their previous home Local (Local A). They complete the Rigging Self-Study course in your Local. Previously, the system didn’t recognize they met the Cranes pre-requisite as it was completed in another Local. The update allows your Local to create the Qualified Rigger Cert for the member as it now recognizes they have met all pre-requisites since the Cranes course was taken in Local A and the Rigging course taken in Local B.
